Pymble Golf Course, located in the heart of Sydney’s beautiful North Shore residential district, is regarded as one of the finest inland courses in Australia. Surrounded by magnificent homes, the picturesque course measuring over 6100 metres, meanders through creek filled gullies and over heavily treed hills providing a golf experience of perhaps unequalled beauty and challenge.

Pymble is a private Club with a championship golf course. However the facilities are available to the public both for golf and functions as set out below.

I’ve played Pymble about a dozen times in the last 10 years. Nothing much has changed. It is a good course but in truth much of the course suffers from too severe a slope away from the clubhouse and this defines and detracts from many of the holes. The better holes tend to play across the slope. For some reason the fairways have always been very spongy and the greens a little inconsistent in pace and mostly unimaginative. There are a significant number of better designed and presented courses in Sydney and this course rates somewhere between a 2 and a 3. By private course standards, I’ll settle on a 2.

Bring your biggest and best fairway wood that you have. We did play after the course was soaked with about 2 inchs of rsin in 1 hour but the course drained so we were allowed back out. Beautiful to play, nice fairways, true greens (they would be very quick if they were dry) and a nice walk with some nice holes like the 16th and the 4th. All round good course but don't expext to play to your hanicap as the greens and fairways are well protected by bunkers and thick rough. Ask Benny! Well worth a round if you can afford it. PS come in your Sunday best.

Played here years ago when my handicap was low enough to play in the NSW State titles & Pymble cup.

Always remembered it as a challenging course with beautiful fairways, greens & scenery.

Now days my son is lucky enough to play there each year in the schoolboys titles each January.

Each year he walks away saying that its one the very best he has played & he has played some great tracks.

We cannot wait for January to roll around each year he him to compete(don't know who enjoys it more!)

Pity it is private as its really is a jewel.

Pymble is a lovely walk..but a tough one.

Quite hilly but well maintained and challenging with excellent greens and recent changes to some holes adding both length and difficulty.

The 2nd is a monster Par 5 and a couple of terrific holes down at the bottom of the course.

Private but good people and worth a game anyday.
