A lovely country course, not too demanding but plenty of trees to block you out. For me, most difficult holes are the 4th (long par 4), 8th (uphill par 4 with out of bounds on left), 14th (par 5 with extreme sharp dogleg and narrow gap about 100m out), 16th (short par 5 with out of bounds all along right). Greens you DON’T want to be past the pin are the 4th, 8th, 12th, 15th and 18th…unless you like those trickley putts! My pick of the holes would be the par 4 13th. In all, a credit to the 3 man green staff.

PROS

  • Easy to get on, short rough, not many places to lose a ball, friendly.

Cons

  • Stroppy magpie nesting in tree to the right of the 5th green!

This was being prepared for a pro-am and was in very good nick. The front nine is fairly straightforward, with the 373m uphill par 4 8th being the toughest with out of bounds left. The front 9 holes are fairly straight up and down, with the back 9 having a few more hills and some nice curves and doglegs.

Definitely worth playing if you are in the area.

Not one of the money clubs on the sapphire coast but a fun track to have a knock, mostly straight foward par 4s and 5s. One creek runs through the course but you wont get into to much trouble hazzard wise. Green staff take alot of pride and the back nine has a few challenging holes. I have to say if you want a quiet round have a hit here, apart from the rifle range behind the course it would have to be one of the quietest rounds of golf I have ever had. The hardest hole on the course is the par 4 8th hole it's all uphill back toward the club house. Watch the out of bounds as a roads runs through the middle of the course and they have internal out of bounds. Defintely worth a knock if your down this way.
