Can only comment on the back 9. And it had suffered due to 100mm of rain in the week before. It is a very flat track, with very wide fairways and mostly raised greens, pretty uninsiring realy. The greens were to soft and the bunkers didn’t come into play once for me. The only hole that was mildly enjoyable was the 16th, it has a well designed and constructed new tee and you hit across the water to a tricky well bunkered green, if not for some construction to the left rear of the green it would have been brilliant.

Played this time last year and was less than impressed. The greens really let this course down but since the clubs multi million dollar improvents, course, hotel, etc. everything is better.

Greens are now consistently good with the green keepers having laid the same type of grass on all 18 greens. Previously they had three different types of grass on the greens which made things very frustrating.

A fair but challenging course and a great one to start on if you're doing a golfing trip along the Murry river.

22 of us spent a weekend there and had a graet time. Motel staff were fantastic and the clubhouse, which they have just reopened at a cost of 8 million was friendly and the food and drink cheap. The course was a challenge and the greens were very slick for this time of the year. Apart from some poor course mangement by staff on the saturday they (a greenkeepers challenge day and unfortunately included us for a few holes). I don't know what Peanuts is on but this is no beginners course. Deep bunkers, plenty of water and long. The frost and dew added more length for the first few holes. Couldn't recommend this course more highly to social groups who want a few days away.

Unfortunately played this exeptionally picturesque course shortly after it had received some copious amounts of rain.

I believe they struggle with drainage at this course as the amount of casual water was dissappointing. Every Drive requiring it to fly the distance, cos if it hit the deck it stopped no matter how much meat you gave it. The par 5's can only be reached by the good golfers, and carefully placed hazards challenge all that play this course. Consistently fast greens and the locals assured me they are faster in the spring. If you are in Albury region I recommend that you take the time to play this course. Unless they have had a bucket of rain, drive right by an visit next time.

Prob give it 3.5 / 5. I'll be back to play in the spring.

PS don't be scared go for the pin on the 16th... Dare ya!

Quite a pleasant layout, although suffers a bit from it's flat landscape and mostly unimaginative design. The exception is the final par 3 (16th I think) which is a good challenge. A medium-length hole where your tee shot skirts the dam, and if a northerly or westerly is blowing you need to strike boldly to reach the green.

Suitable for all golfing standards, especially learners, but compared to other courses in the region it falls a little short.
