This course is a real test, very narrow with a lot of water, OOB etc to catch even the slighest mishit off the tee. I have been a member here for years and it is fair to say Terrigal is not “fun”, Par 33 makes a tough scoring challenge but it does improve your game. Slicers will hate it with hazards, OOB on the right hand side of almost every hole

The greens and fairways were due for a cut today, and the opposite was happening. All day there were trucks, carts and hoses on the greens. I happened to hit a hose and have my ball run off the green twice. Quite disappointing

Terrigal Memorial Country club Boast two bowling greens, two tennis courts ,a 9 hole golf course and probly the best club house on the central coast .

The club has just got council approval for the Wayne Grady upgrade .The couse will remain a 9 hole course .

The main concern was water storage .By moving the holes around the Grady group has planned some big dams running off the creeks that run through the course .

Final touches to the plans are almost completed and work will not commence till approx. 2006.

The course at present is in very good shape and is very challanging to the average golfer.

Affectionly known as "Royal Terrigal" the course derserves a better rating .Being only 9 holes knocks it back a bit .

Six par four's and three par three's

Hit straight or suffer.

Although only a 9 holer, Royal Terrigal as it is called has become a short, but well respected course around the Central Coast. Plans are currently in place to stretch the course to include a par 5.

However, men and particularly women golfers are welcome and comps are played nearly every day. The friendly pro team lead by Scott Cubis are always available to help and games at short notice are possible.

The signature hole is probably the par 3 fourth which is bounded by trees on the left and a creek to the right and around 160 metres to a hole with bunkers at the front and side - a wayward tee shot leads to big problems and so the straight hitters get rewarded.

Maybe I'm biased as a member here but most of the players are friendly, there is an abundance of retired people and like at most places they always want to help.
