The course is centred around a valley of beautiful rainforest pockets. The course is open 7 days a week having a fully stocked Pro Shop with motorised buggies.

Don’t be fooled by the relatively short par 68 tag. The course is very challenging with spectacular views from the many lofty tees encompassing the often hard to hit elevated greens.

The Nambour Golf Club is where you get the feeling you are closer to tropical Cairns than the sub-tropical Sunshine Coast. With the course centred around a valley full of beautiful rainforest pockets it has Queensland written all over it. To play Nambour is a golfing experience not to be missed.

Really should enforce using a electric kart for health reasons! Such a hilly coarse. I was staggered watching some people walking it. Some very very long holes and some very short holes. A good variety of holes.

Greens were very different around the place, one would be perfect, the next muddy, the next sandy, the next scrappy.

Some holes are carbon copy of others and it seems the front 9 is very long hitter bias section with the back 9 more suited to iron players.

Played at Nambour yesterday. It was on the warm side but you do need a cart as it is hilly to the max. There are blind shots everywhere.

My stand out holes was the 3rd, 5th, 8, 10, 17 and 18th.

The 3rd and 11th are side by side and are identicle holes. Both tee shots are very hight above the fairway below. Thats why its a long par 4 on paper, but not on course

The 8th is a short par 3 and slightly up hill but your in trouble if you just miss the green. The road runs down the left hand side and thick shrub and trees are on the left hand side just off the green. We lost a ball in there.

The 10th is longer par 3 then the 8th on paper, but not on grass! A down hill shot like the 3rd hole but not as far down with surrounding bunkers.

17 is a longish par 3 but if you hit the green going to fast, your ball will run over and thats not all that good. I got there with a 4 wood (im not a good hitter), it bounced 10 meters short of the green and just ran 10 meters off the green.

The 18th is a great finishing hole. 2nd shot up hill with the clubhoue in the backround. A great par 4 to play.

The 19th is great with friendly staff!

Hot, hilly, dry - need I say more. There are heaps of better options on the Sunshine Coast. 2 and a half stars.

After visiting a sick relative in the hospital we ventured out a for what we hoped was a relaxing game of golf. We found a beautiful course which matched the beautiful people of this town.

This course is wonderfully manicured into the hills surrounding it. One of the course that I would have to say I would graciously play again.

In one weekend we played it two and a half times.

Then headed into the 19th for a great night!!

course was in good condition and presented well but to many hills .Lots of blind shots to greens and rough was tough and inconsistent.Keep in on the fairways .To many hills for me.Head down to the coast and try there.

Nice course nestled in Nambour that is less than $20.00 during the week. The clubhouse is excellent and overlooks most of the course. Surrounded by rainforest means stay on the course or you've lost a ball. Heavier atmosphere means you need another club and greens are slow, but reasonably true. A good break from resort courses and only 15 minutes from Coolum. Hilly and a bit of water as well although not too many bunkers. Played there a few times now and thoroughly enjoyed it.
